CHECK-IN time is after 3:00 pm PST and CHECKOUT time is before 11:00 am PST.

SMOKING POLICY: all of our units are NON-SMOKING.   Guests may smoke outside, and as such, an ashtray is provided on the patio for guests who need to smoke.

VACATION RENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION: As a part of your stay, you are required to purchase a Waivo® Damage Waiver (designed to cover damage and loss to the rental unit and its contents that occur during your stay). The Damage Waiver will pay a maximum benefit ($5000 for 1 & 2 bedroom properties; $10,000 for 3+bedroom properties and any property with a private pool) Any damages exceeding that amount or are not covered by the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Waivo® Damage Waiver coverage can be found at The cost of the Waivo® Damage Waiver is dependent on the rental property ($69/$5000 or $79/$10,000) and is good for a 90-night continuous stay.  Any stays longer than 90 nights will need to purchase an extension at the same rate. 

UTILITIES: included in the monthly rental amount is a monthly utility allowance to cover the costs of electricity and gas.  The amount of the allowance ranges from $300 to $500 and depends on the property's size and amenities. This amount is enough to cover reasonable use of the property and all of the amenities it offers. However, if the combined gas and electric bills exceed the allowance in a single month it is the responsibility of the renter to pay the overage. Due to the lag in billing, the utilities are calculated up to a month after departure.  In the event an overage occurs, you will be informed via email, that a balance will be added to your folio, and that amount will be charged to your credit card.

POOLS & HOT TUBSWAIVER OF LIABILITY: You understand the use of the pool/hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the pool/hot tub.  You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from the use of the pool/hot tub and hold the owner harmless.  You understand there are potential dangers that the pool/hot tub may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person using the pool/hot tub, if a person has health risks, or if a person uses the pool/hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or medication, or uses the pool/hot tub if pregnant.  You agree to explain the risks of using the pool/hot tub to any guests you may have at the property and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents your guests may incur.  You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and your guest for the consequences of those risks. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the property owner and/or Greenday Management Services, LLC for accidents or claims arising from you, other property occupants, and/or your guests’ use of the pool and/or hot tub.

PAYMENT: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required at the time of reservation. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date. Alternative payment options can be arranged by request by contacting Steven at the Greenday Vacation Rentals office directly at 760-656-8877.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of overnight guests is limited to the number of beds in the rental property, for example, twin (1 per), full (1 per), queen (2 per), king (2 per), Cal-king (2 per) sized beds and sleeper sofas (1-2 per).

MINIMUM AGE:  The minimum age of the primary signer must be at least 30 years old.

MINIMUM STAY: This property requires a minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during special events or holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than the required minimum length, the guest will be charged the minimum rate.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate.   However, it is available for an additional fee. A washer and dryer are available in the unit for your use. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units, but we do provide pool towels for your use.

RATE CHANGES: Rates are subject to change without notice however we will always honor the rate you contracted for.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

PARKING: Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles.  Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.  Parking on the road is not permitted.  Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

LAKES: There is absolutely no swimming, boating, floating, or wading allowed in the area lakes.

HOT TUB: No children under the age of 12 are permitted in hot tubs at any time.  When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.  There is no lifeguard on duty.

FIREPLACE: The fireplace is a vented gas firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.   Fireplaces are turned off from April 15-September 15; they are not operational during this time of the year.

WATER AND PLUMBING: DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clogged the system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200).

SUBSTITUTION OF PROPERTY:  On rare occasions, due to ownership changes, properties being removed from rental use, or a need for extensive repairs or maintenance, the Property may not be available for rental on the dates of your reservation.  In this unlikely event, Greenday Vacation Rentals reserves the right to substitute a comparable property.  If comparable accommodations are not available, you will have the option of (1) selecting from other available properties (in which case you are responsible for, or will receive the benefit of, any difference in cost) or (2) receiving a complete refund of your reservation payment.  In the event of a substitution of rental properties, all Terms in this Agreement, plus any Unit-Specific Terms specific to the substituted property, shall apply to your stay in the substituted property. 


STORM POLICY: No refunds will be given unless:

The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or

A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for a Storm/Hurricane Warning" in the area of residence of a vacationing guest.

The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:

Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;

Any unused portion of rent from a guest who is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and

Any advance rent collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: CSA Travel Protection Vacation Rental Insurance has been made available with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance provides coverage for prepaid, nonrefundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection. Separate terms and conditions apply, read your Description of Coverage/Policy carefully and contact CSA at (866) 999-4018 with coverage questions.

All of the units are privately owned; neither the homeowners nor Greenday Vacation Rentals are responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities; nor are the homeowners or Greenday Vacation Rentals responsible for a guest’s loss of personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Sixty (60) days' notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days before the arrival date will incur a $300.00 cancellation fee and will have all other payments refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit.
